History

In the spring of 2004 a small group of people, led by Dr Richard Boeke, founded Horsham Interfaith forum. This group was concerned about fear, ignorance and misunderstanding in our world and its objective was to build a community of trust and promote understanding and co-operation between people of different faiths.

From a first year membership of twenty five our number have now risen to over sixty members and we would like many more. Membership is open to all who support our aims. Our members include Muslims, Christians, Bahais, Buddhists. Hindus, Unitarians, Mormons and even agnostics and atheists.

We are anxious to build relationships with all local faith groups and with the local authorities

In 2007 we received a grant from the Faith Communities Capacity Building Fund and also were elected to membership of the Inter Faith Network UK.
